Geezus John B – want her to kill the dog? I second that to not listen to this person – he’s ABSOLUTELY wrong! Like the prior poster said – read the instructions. I’m using it on my dog now and VERY satisfied with the results! Two days later and he isn’t itching at all. I combed through his coat and only found a couple of dead fleas.

  • John B:

Put frontline on him once a day for 7 days. By then, all the fleas, ticks, and chewing lice will be gone.

  • Donegal Rose:

    It should take 24 hours.

Frontline Plus claims to kill all fleas in less than 24 hours.

By the way, the first answer will kill your dog. Frontline is only supposed to be applied once a month and it does not say that on the package.

    i think abuot a day

    although we used this
the only thing that got rid of our dog’s fleas was moving
    also
watch where u walk your dog
if it’s a place where many people take their dogs on a walk
then it’s probably not a good idea since the place will prob allready be infected with fleas

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE TOP ANSWER GUY!!!! Frontline is suppose to be a once a month treatment. i am sure if you look on the box it will tell you how long it takes. but for my dog it took 24-48 hours.
